Hello everyone! Here's some news about upcoming events worth checking out (well, in my opinion they're worth checking out! )

The Line up: 2 amazing pianists that evening...George Oldziey and Rich Harney, and on Bass the remarkable John Fremgen, & all the way from Canada to our fair city of Austin Rob Kazenel on drums, and I say this with all sincerity, one of the best tenor saxophonists in the entire world, John Mills. This is such an amazing group of musicians....I'm so honored to be singing with them!

We'll be performing from 9:30p.m. to 1:30a.m. (I know it's sort of late for a Thursday but a little!) It's such a great way to begin the weekend!

I truly feel it will be a very special event and we would be so honored to have you there to herald in the new recording project!

On Friday Dec. 11th we will once again do our seasonal rendition of:

There will be a small ticket fee which I'm not sure of yet! More info. to come...stay tuned! The glorious sparkling text is by Dylan Thomas and all of the music is written by yours truly Suzi Stern and Rich Harney, with fantastic, sometimes hilarious improvisations by Alex Coke and astounding colorful expressive solos by Buddy. It's definitely a wonderful way to bring in the season with a feeling of good will and warmth...great for young and old alike!

Looking ahead into 2010: Can you believe how that sounds?? 2010?? Several performances in the Big Apple, en route to festivals in Sweden and some club gigs in Amsterdam...stay tuned for all the details as I firm up and fine tune the events ahead!!
