and sharing some warm feedback from the press in 2013 that I'm really honored to have:
"Stern's musical style pallet is wide…her compositions are a testament to her wide reaching command of many styles and her ability to match a musical mood to the feeling of her words.grace and elegance...Overall, if there was a genre called art-jazz this wonderful offering would certainly fit that bill. A delightful musical journey.."   JAZZ TIMES

"Stern not only possesses a naturally beautiful voice, capable of exploring all the emotions songs deliver to the artist, but she composed the music and lyrics and is responsible for the arrangements…it is a stunning achievement!  Let it seep in!!"   5 stars out of 5!  AMAZON / HALL OF FAME TOP 50 REVIEWERVINE VOICE

"...on “Firefly“you’ll hear a singer who has “been there” already… and she paints sonic beauty that makes you want to go right along with her, no matter the cost!" IMPROVIJAZZATION NATION review 2013

"pure beauty...a disc that has few comparatives...airs not normally found in rock, jazz, or related modes... Stern embraces the timbre of midnight...Haunted Heart enfolds an atmosphere the word 'bittersweet' was invented for.not just 'a showcase for' Ms. Stern's entrancing vocals and depth- encrusted compositions but her very soul as well.   FAME Review 2013

"Suzi Stern transcends the limitations of genre with this subtly compelling, quietly evocative collection of original compositions and imaginative arrangements that prove to be her most ambitious project to date."  AUSTIN CHRONICLE '13

"There is something in Suzi Stern's voice that is contained in all of our voices; it is ageless, timeless...she sings with pure depth and emotion…"  JSTOP 21 review 2013

"highly recommended for those who love expressive singing but would welcome a change from the jazz standards repertoire. More please, Suzi!! "   JAZZ CAMERA review 2013

"Stern brings her beautiful voice to the fore in service of taking it down a different set of back alleys...it’s clear Stern wants to mark a little territory of her own!"  MIDWEST RECORD review 2013

"Stern's vocals are like the glittery gilding framing the outline of a picture frame. The arrangements have the effect of landscaping the smooth swagger of her beautiful vocals." 5 Stars! SUSAN FRANCIS /YAHOO review 2013

Thank you all for supporting live music!!!  Have a happy, healthy, successful, creatively inspired 2014!!
Much Love,
Suzi
